This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a dedicated and capable House Manager to become an integral part of a prominent UHNW family's estate, offering the chance to work in a prestigious and dynamic environment just outside of Windsor.

Responsibilities

Estate Management:

  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the estate, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Oversee the groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance teams to maintain the estate's appearance and functionality at the highest standard.

  • Implement and manage an organised system for household inventory, supplies, and resources.

 

Staff Supervision:

  • Lead, manage, and supervise the household staff, which may include housekeepers, butlers, chefs, gardeners, and other domestic personnel.

  • Foster a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork, discipline, and excellence among the staff.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide training as needed, and handle any disciplinary matters professionally and discreetly.

  • High-Level Service and Hospitality:

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of guest arrivals and departures, ensuring the family's guests receive impeccable service and attention to detail.

  • Organise and supervise events, parties, and functions hosted on the estate, ensuring they are executed flawlessly.

  • Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality while catering to the unique needs and preferences of the family.

Budgeting and Financial Management:​

  • Collaborate with the family office and financial advisors to manage the household budget effectively.

  • Ensure all household expenses are tracked, documented, and reported accurately.

Security and Safety:

  • Work closely with the estate's security team to maintain a secure environment for the family and their assets.

  • Implement and update security protocols as needed to safeguard the estate and its occupants.

  • Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

  • Oversee renovations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed to the family's satisfaction and within budget and timelines.

Key requirements

  • Proven experience as a House Manager or Estate Manager for high-profile clients, preferably within UHNW families.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage household staff and interact with various professionals.

  • Strong organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks, events, and responsibilities with attention to detail.

  • Exceptional discretion, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing household budgets and expenses.

  • Knowledge of security and safety protocols for high-profile individuals and properties.

  • Flexibility in working hours, as the position may require extended hours and weekend availability.

  • Knowledge of etiquette and protocols related to high-level hospitality and events.
