We are currently seeking a Private Chef to cater for a family of 4, located in Bayswater, London. The family consists of 2 adults and 2 young girls, aged 10 months and 4 years, with no dietary restrictions. While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, a female chef is preferred due to accommodation arrangements.
 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for the family of 4.

  • Create a diverse menu featuring a wide range of international cuisines (experience with Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine preferred but not essential)

  • Ensure that meals are nutritionally balanced, delicious, and suitable for both adults and children.

  • Plan and execute a more elaborate meal once per week, introducing variety and excitement into the family's dining experience.

  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Collaborate with the family to accommodate any special requests or preferences.

 

Additional Information:

  • The family enjoy an informal dining style, with minimal entertaining requirements.

  • Travel with the family during school holidays may be expected, so flexibility is appreciated.

  • Trials for the position will be conducted before October 15th while the principal is in residence.

  • Live in available for the right candidate

Key requirements

  • Proven culinary experience as a Private Chef, preferably with experience in family settings.

  • A passion for international cuisines and the ability to prepare a wide variety of dishes.

  • Strong knowledge of Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus.

  • Familiarity with cooking for children and accommodating their dietary needs.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Clean and safe food handling practices.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules.

  • Respect for family privacy and confidentiality.
